Connor, Margaret, and I won't be able to physically be there in Texarkana, but we will be with you in spirit celebrating Jonette's life. Jonette and Donna helped to heal our hearts from the loss of our beloved Sweeney with one of their wonderful Steppin'wolf puppies - Connor. Jonette chose him for us and said, "I love his laughing face." Well, Jonette we loved your laugh, your smile, and your laughing face; and through Conner they will be with us for many years to come.

Dear Donna and Darling Amber.....I have thought of all of those of you closest to Jonette in these past few days. I only knew her 5 short months but the loss I feel is so great I can't even begin to imagine what the rest of you are having to endure. It is such a joy and a miracle to have my little TC. I wonder how long it will be before I stop thinking "Oh, wait til I tell Jonette about THAT!!" I just loved telling her my TC stories.
I've never known anyone like her....TC is not my first wolfhound but this is the first time I have felt part of a wolfhound family.
Big hugs to all.

Thanks Kathy, I copied the sighting from the Craig's List ad and didn't notice their typo.

He is not microchipped.

Thanks for your kindness.

I have been there 2x. Radio & TV helps as do the flyers. First time after the 3rd day (with living in the country) we rented a helicopter and that way we were able to cover more ground and acreage. We were able to spot our girl from he chopper. Just a thought to keep in the back of your mind...if you're like us, we were willing to try everything and anything. Also ATV's or horseback to cover more ground with the little daylight hours available at this time of year. Good Luck.

If he went missing on Monday morning (10/25) how was he seen on 10/24??

Also - was he microchipped?? Prayers sent, candle burning to light him home. I know Teresa is sick with worry. Southern Indiana is too far to be of much practical help (i.e., searching) since I still have a "day" job, but if there is anything I CAN do to help, let me know.

My wife and I ride the road every day looking, we look at the lake and the George Butler and Long Creek rd and both sand pits. We wanted to know which sand pit is he most seen at. WE call himm by name and whistle for him and have tracked a big pawed animal for a long way. We owm a Golden retriver so we know big dogs. I cut thru htere every day. If you read this which sand pit there are three in the area. The one we see the big prints in are behind the golf course. "IF" we can catch him with food and treats we will hold him until we get someone to take hold of him. I threatened to cut thru the woods calling and looking.

My wife and I rode Saturday and Sunday Aug 2nd and 3rd looking around this area, I am from this area so I am familiar with it.
We ran across several dirt bike riders that had not heard of the missing dog or reward. Between the sand pit and the Blackwell dirt pit and the church is where we look. We stopped and called and we carry treats to try and entice him to let us hold on to him while we call for help, you guys.
We will keep on looking until he is found.
