My wife and I ride the road every day looking, we look at the lake and the George Butler and Long Creek rd and both sand pits. We wanted to know which sand pit is he most seen at. WE call himm by name and whistle for him and have tracked a big pawed animal for a long way. We owm a Golden retriver so we know big dogs. I cut thru htere every day. If you read this which sand pit there are three in the area. The one we see the big prints in are behind the golf course. "IF" we can catch him with food and treats we will hold him until we get someone to take hold of him. I threatened to cut thru the woods calling and looking.

My wife and I rode Saturday and Sunday Aug 2nd and 3rd looking around this area, I am from this area so I am familiar with it.
We ran across several dirt bike riders that had not heard of the missing dog or reward. Between the sand pit and the Blackwell dirt pit and the church is where we look. We stopped and called and we carry treats to try and entice him to let us hold on to him while we call for help, you guys.
We will keep on looking until he is found.

I heard about your story this morning. My heart goes out to you and your family. I don't have one, but these guys are wonderful giants. If I had any idea where to start looking, I'd drive down from Nashville, TN in a heartbeat to help. When there is another sighting, maybe I'll be able to do just that. My thoughts, wishes and prayers go out to Destiny for a speedy recovery and to Errol for a speedy and safe return home. God Bless

My husband and I just drove through Meridian Sunday (7/20) evening returning to Texas from North Carolina. As we drove along I-20, I remained alert to any possible signs. Sadly, I caught from my peripheral vision a pile of remains on the road's shoulder between mile markers 129 and 128 on the westbound lane. I could not stop to investigate further and a rain storm was approaching quickly, but the hair markings looked to be a dark gray brindle. As brief as the vision was, it could have been remains of a coyote or deer. It is my hope that it would not be Errol. I'm praying for his safe return home all in one piece with just secret adventures on his mind.
If someone local could investigate to eliminate that possibility, it would be helpful.

My sisters & I went on a search this past Tuesday, July 15th to help look for your Errol. We searched the SandPit, Hwy. 19, off roads of Hwy. 19 and the Golf Course from 3:00pm to 8:00pm. It is breaking our hearts that he is out there alone and probably scared too death.
We are praying for him every night that he will be found & reunited with his family. All we are wanting is for him to be back home with
you.
I will continue to pray for you & Errol to be reunited.
Would you mind keeping me updated about Errol?? I would love to meet Errol one day; I bet he is one "BIG" spoiled baby.

With Love,

Sheila Jackson of Meridian, MS
